The Anthropology Department

Description

The Anthropology Department is mainly focused on the study of human reaction to anomalies encountered by the Authority. While most nations in the world are oblivious to the existence of anomalies encountered by the Authority, there are cases in which human beings come into contact with anomalies, and the Anthropology department seeks to document any interactions between humans and RPCs.

In addition to this, the Anthropology department also studies organizations, both active and inactive, that is either anomalous in nature or deal with other anomalies. It should also be noted that the Anthropology department also encompasses human archeology and work closely with the History department to uncover and retrieve any anomalous object that appears throughout history.

Shouldn't I know enough about myself?

Humans are a difficult topic, and it should be no surprise that there is a whole Department that deals with their relationship with the paranatural. Here, we hope to demonstrate that our species' evolution has always been haunted by the anomalous.

This year, the Anthropology Department presents Rowan Berries, and Dancers Beyond the First Fires; a terrifying account of the visions of our ancestors.

In the wake of joint operations with archaeologists from the Blackley Company out of Cultural Affairs, and premiere Viderics Researchers Prof. Arnald Harryn et al, Anthropologists under Dr. Samuel Hahn have made shocking discoveries in the past year regarding a possible impact that a natural form of viderics found in the berries of a certain species of rowan tree appears to have had on early hominids in coastal southern Finland.

While the exact chemical composition of said berries is still undergoing research in the Department of Plant Sciences, presentations of current findings will be shown today - including a to-scale replica of a Neanderthal cave found in the area, hypothesised to have served as a 'viderics temple' by Hahn's team.
